Mobile Game Privacy Policy
Welcome to Top That (the "Game"), a mobile application developed and operated by APPSDONE ("we," "us," or "our").
We respect the privacy of our players and are committed to protecting it, especially when it comes to younger players. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard user information when you play Top That on iOS and Android devices.
By installing and playing the Game, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or play the Game.
Under 13 Target Audience: Top That is designed for players of all ages, including children under the age of 13 (and under the age of 16 in the European Union/European Economic Area). Accordingly, we adhere strictly to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) children’s provisions in Europe.
We do not knowingly collect, store, or share "Personal Information" (such as full names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or persistent online identifiers that can track a user across different websites or apps) from children under 13, except as permitted under COPPA/GDPR for supporting internal operations of the Game.
If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information that is not exempt under COPPA, we will immediately delete that information from our servers. Parents or guardians who believe we have accidentally collected personal data from a child under 13 may contact us immediately at [email protected] to request its removal.
No Data Transmission: The Game includes a feature allowing players to use their device camera to display a live camera feed as an in-game background. We process this camera feed entirely in real-time, locally on your device. The camera data is never recorded, never saved on your device's storage, and is never transmitted off the device.
We ask for your explicit permission to access the camera before enabling this feature. You can decline this permission or turn off the camera background feature in the settings at any time. Decline of camera access does not prevent you from playing the Game; it simply replaces the camera feed with a solid color background.
To ensure stability, diagnose bugs, and improve the gameplay experience, the Game collects certain types of non-personal information. This information is limited to:
We integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) to perform analytics, stability monitoring, push notifications, and advertising. These services are selected and configured to align with child privacy guidelines (COPPA and GDPR-K):
Used to gather aggregated, anonymous game metrics and performance statistics. We configure Firebase Analytics to disable Advertising ID collection and restrict user data collection for child-directed usage.
Monitors stability and records technical details during crashes. It does not collect any personally identifiable details, focusing purely on device configurations and code-level errors.
Provides push notifications and reminders to the device. It utilizes temporary device tokens to transmit notifications locally and does not build demographic user profiles.
To serve advertisements within the app, we will use Google AdMob. To comply with children's privacy regulations, we configure AdMob to tag ad requests as child-directed (COPPA tag) and serve only non-personalized, family-appropriate ads to players under 13.
For more information on how Google Firebase and AdMob manage data, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms page.
Depending on your platform, Top That may request access to certain features of your device to function correctly. You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device system settings:
If you are a parent or guardian of a player under the age of 13, you have full control over any data associated with your child. You have the right to:
To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. To verify your request, we may ask you to provide confirmation of parental status or verify details of the device running the Game.
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect any non-personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or modification. Because the Game operates largely offline and does not collect personal user accounts or files, we do not store sensitive user-identifiable data on external database systems.
We retain anonymous gameplay metrics and crash logs only as long as necessary to fulfill the technical debugging and optimization objectives described in this policy, or to comply with statutory legal requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory modifications. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
